Few Months Ago,most of the women all over India celebrated,as the Women's Bill passed in Rajya Sabha.I was wondering whether this bill helps them in anyway and later realized that it can help at least few of them belonging to certain sections of the society.
I was thinking then and even now....."What women really need"?!.....
Is that power,freedom,security,equality or all of these...........I didn't find any answers though!!!
After Swami Nithyanandha-Ranjitha issue,my thoughts increased on the equality of men and women.Swami Nithyanandha,who was behind the bars for nearly 30-40 days,proudly told to the media that he became as famous as Michael Jackson and enjoying his new "celebrity" status.In contrast to peoples opinion,his followers and disciples increased than before according to the media sources.
Where as Ranjitha,a Tamil actress,who was involved in the same scandal,appealed for security as she was receiving threatening calls and after 6 months she released a press statement where in she says that she is not able to watch her own movie "villain",even though it was released before 2 months.She was in home for 6 months and wondered if she can ever get back into normal social life!!!
I somehow felt bad for her.However,it doesn't mean i support her....But,My Aim here is to point out the difference in the punishments the couple received and also the difference of treatment in the society towards them!!If this is the case of a lady who has got name,fame and money,what will be the situation of common women of our country?!!
May be women need tat basic justice rather than equality,power or freedom!!
Although,India is a country where women goddess are worshipped and where the country is in the hands of a powerful lady....we still read news about the violence against women,rapists,husbands who beat,abuse or harass women mentally or physically to satisfy their hidden sadism and insecurity and many other unseen or overlooked issues!!
With all these problems,I don't think women can achieve equality and freedom rather should have to struggle for justice and for maintaining their self-respect following the rules and customs of our old traditional Indian society!!!

all they need is equal opportunity and recognisances in every sector which includes politics,sports,jobs and that includes everything. not only equal rights, they should be well respected in each and every department irrespective of their positions and status. to summarize ..respecting women is respecting our mother and mother land. jai hind, van de mataram.

సమానత్వం దానికదే వచ్చేస్తుంది. స్త్రీలు ఎన్ని రంగాల్లొ రాణించినా కూడా ,,, మగ వాళ్ళతో సమానంగా ఉన్నా కూడా చిన్న చూపు చూడబడుతుంది. ముఖ్యం గా మగవారి ఆలొచనా విధానం లో మార్పు రావాలి.
